The production of Bluebeard's Castle was performed in repertory with Carmen and For the Love of Three Oranges. To facilitate smooth transitions between productions, set pieces were either flown out or equipped with casters for ease of mobility.
Low Profile Arbors
During the install of this production, we faced a challenge involving tilting of the LED screen portals. To tackle this issue, I came up with a solution by designing low-profile arbors that could be inset within the portal framing. These arbors were positioned at the base of each portal leg, effectively counterbalancing the weight of the LED panels mounted on the front of the framing. This adjustment not only addressed the tilting problem but also ensured a stable and visually appealing setup for the LED screens
