Nate Mohlman is currently an Assistant Professor and the faculty Technical Director at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse

 

Mohlman earned his MFA in Technical Direction at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale Illinois, where he had the opportunity to pursue areas of study including scenic design and technology, technical direction, entertainment automation, rigging, mechanical design, and metal fabrication.

Nate's selected professional credits include serving as the Assistant Technical Director at the Des Moines Metro Opera for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, the Utah Shakespeare Festival 2020 and 2021 seasons, and the McLeod Summer Playhouse 2019 season.

Nate has also had the opportunity to present Building Greener Theatre at the Kentucky Thespians Festival and Move It, Move It: Scenery Robot at SETC and USITT Theatre Conferences.
